I really love the influence of the old masters in all of your pieces..at least it does look like that to me.
It's probably the faces and the color schemes you use to create light. The mix of cold and warm colors next to eachother to create the atmosphere and how you use brushes and brushstrokes.
Somehow vibrant colors but still not screaming from the canvas or rather screen here.
Most of your pieces do have a very tranqil feel to it and the messages or feelings they create are not blunt but rather subtle. I am very much in love with all of your visions.

This is really beautiful. Watercolors have always eluded me because I never have been able to control them very well. You have inspired me to try again. Full marks from me for that.
I am so glad to see a new post from you. Its funny I just thought of your work because I saw the cover of Spectrum 10 on the science fiction book club website, and I wondered how you were doing.
The greens here are beautiful and very lush. You really have created something that people can really enjoy looking at

I'm also fascinated of the way you can handle the watercolours..
@ the rest:
Have you never seen small people? Not every women is 180cm; I'm 165cm and I know women with only 160.. 155... what's wrong with that? I like her

I find that it is impressive to reach at the perfect control of watercolor, so difficult technique so much the mixture can appear delicate.
The colors, the atmosphere of painting are superb. I like calm and the universe which is released from this canvas. It's great Christophe, congratulations. ;-)

lack of ripples and presence of what appears to be a foot on the surface of the water + length of arms are what lead me to determine the lower body being too short in proportion to the upper
but that's the only thing i can critique on
everything else is just great - contrast of warm sunny yellow light on subject with cool blue green shadows in the background draw the attention to where they need to be drawn , near flawless details overall are breathtaking, the overall image is so vivid and touching that it almost suggests you were struck with a heavenly vision or had witnessed such a miracle in reality
i bow to you masta
<edit> i just visited your website
please give me permission to kiss your feet
