Description
Cover for the book "Predator's Gold" (Harper Collins Publishing) that just came out this month (November).Done in Photoshop.
Note that the greens in the small city are not a mistake. It's supposed to increase the symbols of hope and light in the Arctic environment.
This image is only the front of the book. To see the FULL PAINTING (front and back) click on the link below.

The perspective on the small city bothers me, but that might be just me.

Interesting light and it's great to see a CG from you. You sure master both the traditional and the digital media.

I would just like to address a note to people who thought this was my first digital painting: I have other digital paintings in my posted images.
"Highland Warriors" is a Photoshop painting (although I have to admit it wasn't my best), and all the paintings I've done on Disney's "Treasure Planet" and posted were done with a program called "Digpaint", an equivalent of Photoshop at Disney.
Just a note.

But leave it up to the publisher to muck it all up with text/title placement...

I think the full version is even a lot better. The lost space is beautiful. Great, great painting!
